Targets
From the sidebar, click the Targets folder to view a summary of the connected targets and their
license information. From this screen you can rename or delete a target, or view a target's status.
To rename a target:
1. Click and highlight the target name you wish to change.
2. Overwrite the existing name with the desired name.
3. Check the box next to the new target name and click the Rename button at the top of the table.
To delete a target:
1. Check the box next to the target you wish to delete.
2. Click the Delete button at the top of the table.
Licenses
Under the licenses heading is a summary of the total SPlicenses and the number of remaining
licenses. The number of license available vary by model. If there are insufficient licenses to
discover or add targets, you will receive a low-license warning. Targets in excess of the available
licenses will be ignored.
Port configuration
An autosense port can operate in either serial or network mode. Ports configured for network mode
will be assigned to a virtual interface that provides the IPcommunication with connected devices.
