To import the Access database into the SQL database, click Import. After import is
complete, at the "Import Finished" message, click OK. On the Wizard "Database Name"
dialog box, click Finish. On the SQL Database Manager dialog box, click Close. To log in to
the newly imported database, on the SQL Server Login dialog box, highlight the connection
name and click Login.
6.5. Deleting an SQL Database Connection
String Status > File|Open|SQL-DB|Manage
To delete a connection to an SQL database, select File|Open|SQL-DB. At the
SQL Server Login dialog box, click Manage. At the SQL Database Manager box, click the
database connection to delete, then click Delete. Deleting the database connection does not
remove the database from the server.
6.6. Deleting an SQL Database
String Status > File|Open|SQL-DB|Manage|New
CAUTION: A database file deleted from the server cannot be retrieved.
To delete an SQL database from the server, select File|Open|SQL-DB. At the SQL Server
Login dialog box, click Manage. At the SQL Database Manager box, click New. At the
Wizard "Connection Name" screen, complete the SQL Server To Connect To field, then
click Next. Type the User Name and Password, then click Next. At the Wizard "Database
Name" screen, select the name of the database you want to delete from the Database Name
drop-down list. To permanently delete the database and remove it from the server, click
Delete. After the database is deleted, click Finish. Either open a new database or exit back to
the String Status screen using the Close and Cancel buttons. Deleting the database does not
delete the database connection to the server.
