4.3. Wiring Connection to E2
Connect the network cable to the three-terminal
connector on the COM port that has been configured
for the Energy Meter. The Energy Meter polarity
markings are the inverse of E2; connect the Energy
Meter +Data wire to the E2 RS485 - terminal and con-
nect the Energy Meter -Data wire to the E2 RS485 +
terminal. The shield cable should be connected to the
right most terminal.
When the E2 is at one end of the daisy chain, ter-
minate the E2 with all three jumpers in the terminated
(UP) position.
