Avoid any environmental condition that can result in internal condensation. Ensure that these temperature and humidity requirements can also be met whenever the unit is shipped.

If using a voltage-reducing autotransformer to power the optical switch, ensure that the common terminal connects to the earthed pole of the power source. Use only the type of power cord supplied with the optical switch.
