3. Warranty Information
(i) Lim ited Warrant y . The lim it ed warranty set f ort h herein applies only t o t he Buy er, may be act ed
upon only by the Buyer, and may not be assigned, sold, or transf erred to any third party. Embr
warrant s onl y t o t he B u y er t hat , f or a peri od of one ( 1) y ear f rom del iv ery , t he P rodu ct sh al l
substantially conform to Embr’s published specifications as of the date of shipment. The limited
warrant y herein shall not apply t o ( i) any Product t hat has been cust om ized, alt ered, or repaired by
any person or entity other than personnel of Embr or personnel specifically authorized by Embr, (ii)
any Product that has been subject ed to abuse, misuse, damage, neglect, or accident beyond
Embr’s published limitations for the Product or other causes external to the Products (including,
without limitation, environmental conditions and power conditions), (iii) use of the Product in
com bination with products or sof t ware not supplied by E m br, (iv ) any use or operation of t he
Product other than in accordance with Embr’s then-current published specifications and
inst ruct ions f or t he Product, or (v) any non- conf or mit ies or def ect s notified by Buy er to Seller wit h
respect t o a P rodu ct af t er t he expirat ion of t he applicabl e warrant y peri od f or s uch P rodu ct .
(ii) Remedies. Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy and Seller’s sole and exclusive liability for a
breach of this limited warranty shall be, at Seller’s option, Seller’s use of its comm ercially
reas onabl e e ort s t o repai r or repl ace t he n on- conf or m in g Product . If E m br is u nabl e, af t er
reas onabl e e ort s, t o repair or replace su ch subst ant iall y non- conf or m in g P rodu ct s, E m br, m ay , at
it s sole discretion, elect to refund of an am ount not t o exceed t he actual payment s received by
E m br f or s uch P rodu ct (s) . B uy er s hall n ot ret ur n an y Product t o E m br wit hou t an E m br- is s ued RMA
number; Buyer shall contact Embr at support.embrlabs.com to request a return and to obtain
directions for returns of Products. Shipping costs and the risk of loss for a returned defective
Product wit h a proper RMA num ber shall be bor ne by E m br, and E mbr shall ass um e t he ris k of loss
while the Product is in the Em br f acility. Products that are repaired or replaced by Embr shall be
cov ered by t h is lim it ed warran t y f or t he rem ain i ng warran t y period f or s uch ori gi n al P rodu ct .
2. Important Safety Instructions
DO NOT use this product if you have open wounds, sores, rashes, infection, or inflamed skin in or
around t he area of cont act .
The product band contains some nickel. Nickel exposure from these materials is unlikely, but
customers with known nickel allergies should be attentive when wearing the product until they
can deter mine t hey are not experiencing an allergic reaction.
To reduce t he risk of fire or electric shock, DO N OT expose t he product to rain or m oist ure. D O N OT
subject the product to mechanical shock. DO NOT expose products containing batteries to
excessive heat (e.g., from st orage in direct sunlight, fire, or t he like).
This device cont ains a batt ery subjected to extremely low air pressure that m ay result in an
explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
Use this product only with an agency-approved power supply which meets local regulatory
requirem ent s ( e.g., UL, CSA , VD E , CCC) . Us e only wit h E m br- prov ided charger and USB cable. D O
NOT leave the product on prolonged charge when not in use.
Do not open, alter or attempt to repair this product. Failure to follow this safety precaution could
resu l t in s erious i nju ry or deat h.
Consult with y our doctor before using this product if you are pregnant. Keep this
syst em out of the reach of children.
The product m ust not be discarded as household wast e, and should be deliv ered t o
an appropriate collection facility for recycling. Proper disposal and recycling helps protect natural
resources, human health, and the environment. For more inform ation on disposal and recycling of
this product, contact your local municipality or disposal service.
This product is designed to provide ther mal com f ort , not to regulate core body temperature. It is
int ended f or use in m oder ate environment s, and it is not designed as a replacement f or clothing,
air conditioning, or other tr aditional temperature solutions. Read this manual before using this
product. Keep this m anual in a safe location f or fut ure ref erence.

Using the heating mode continuously for long per iods may result in the skin turning red due to
prolonged heat exposure.
This product contains magnetic material. Consult your physician on whether this
might aect your implantable medical device.
