Tag Firmware Update
To ensure your PariRange Contact Tracing Tags have the most current firmware version,
periodically check https://tekweb.embedtek.net/ for firmware updates and apply them when
available.
There are two parts to the Tag firmware. The first is referred to as the Bootloader and the
second is referred to as the Firmware. While Bootloader updates are rare, they must be applied
to the Tag before the Firmware is updated. Contact [e-mail] if you are
not sure if an available PariRange Tag Bootloader Update has already been applied to your
Tags.
Before attempting to update a Tag’s firmware, confirm that the Tag battery is fully charged or
that the Tag is on a charger and that the PariRange Access Point you plan to use has been
successfully connected to the PariRange User Interface application. Tags must be and remain
within range of an Access Point during the update.
