The list below was edited in October 2011. It corresponds to the country code file V1.4.0 (27/10/11).
Refer to the official COSPAS/SARSAT list for updates. This list can be obtained at the following electronic

NOTE:
Several countries have more than one country code. In this list we selected the
recommended ELT country code for any country. If a dedicated country code is not
listed in the table you can use the relevant number for accurate Cospas-Sarsat encoding
but in that case the name of the country code will be displayed as “UNKNOWN” by our
test bench. It will not impact the accuracy of the actual Cospas-Sarsat Identification
message.
