AULT CORRECTION
All faults.
The charging light does not come on when connected
to mains.

Reset and recharge the battery on the mains
Check the cables and that mains power is present

Allow to warm up then measure again.
Reset the Test Interface Device (ON/OFF) and start
up the STB_06 software again.
Switch the 9V battery of CodADT tool (“PP3” or
“6LR61” type)
If after having corrected fault(s) as describe above, the fault(s) persist(s), replace the test bench or the
ELT under test, depending on the type of fault detected.
6. REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERY
A. Computer
(1)Precaution to t
ake before replacement
Normally, the battery does not have to be removed; simply connect the mains and perform a full
recharged process (about 5 hours) to obtain autonomous operation for about 2 hours.
(2)Replacing the battery
Proceed as follows to replace the battery (Ref. Fig 4):
- Turn OFF the computer and only turn it ON again once the battery has been charged.
- Disconnect all connections and turn over the computer,
- Press on the battery release mechanism,
- Remove the battery by pulling the battery pack,
- Installed the new battery pack and secure it (click),
- Connect all the removed cables,
- Connect power supplies to mains and recharge the battery pack (a full charging cycle is
recommended),
- Turn the computer power back to ON.
