(4) The CodADT tool (Ref. Fig. 6)
This tool is used for “activation / Identification modules” encoding management of an ADT406 ELT
(any model) family independently of the ELT i.e. without using the ELT transmitter.
The CodADT tool is mandatory for coding ADT406 S ELT because this model does not have any
encoding connector such as the other ADT406 models.
For use CodADT tool, remove the “modules” from the ELT and plug it on CodADT tool.
Connect the CodADT tool to the test device with programming cable 02N65746 for ELT model ADT
406 (x).
Follow the “text box” of the software, and switch ON or OFF the CodADT tool when the “text box
as
k”: “SWITCH ON THE BEACON” or “SWITCH OFF THE BEACON”.
