7. If disabling of the button is required, check Disable Button by clicking this text box and proceed to step 12 in this
procedure.
8. Click one of the three (3) Type option buttons to select the broadcast entity type.
9. In the ID text box, enter the corresponding broadcast entity’s ID number. For example, if the broadcast entity is
conventional channel 130 in the CEC/IMC network, enter “130” in the ID text box.
10. From the Code Plan drop-down list box, select the required paging code plan.
11. In the Code text box, enter the required paging code number.
12. Click <OK> to exit the sub-dialog box.
13. As necessary, repeat steps 1 (or 4) through 12 to defined other preprogrammed paging buttons’ properties.
14. Click <Save> to save changes. All changes are saved in the PAGING.INI file.
Since display of button text labeling within the Configuration Editor does not exactly match the display within the
console application, any button text labeling edits should be viewed within the console application before the changes are
released for dispatch operations.
Step 3 in the above procedure—configuration of the six (6) group select buttons on each group page (12 buttons total)—
involves simply defining each button’s text label. This configuration is required only for those group select buttons which are
utilized for preprogram paging dispatch operations.
Color configuration buttons in the sub-dialog box always remain grayed-out, thus preventing selection. These buttons are
reserved for future software configuration enhancements only.
