6.2.2.6 Manual Paging Buttons Dialog Box
The Manual Paging dialog box, shown selected in the following figure, provides configuration functions for the
console’s manual paging buttons. This configuration involves defining each button’s code plan type and text label. Manual
paging is one method of paging via the console’s integrated paging feature licensed option. Save any changes made by
clicking the <Save> command button.

NOTE
Since integrated paging is a feature licensed option, configurations described in this section do not guarantee
integrated paging operations will be possible within the console application. Refer to section 6.2.7 in this manual
(page 57) for additional information on the console’s feature license options.
6.2.2.6.1 Configuring Manual Paging Buttons (Control and Code Plan Buttons)
Within the console application, the three (3) control buttons on the Manual Paging (numeric entry) dialog box provide
basic control during manual paging operations. The <Back Space> button provides a last-entered digit clear-type function
during numeric entry, the <Enter> button starts the paging transmission and the <Esc> (escape) button cancels the manual
page operation. To edit text labeling on one or more control buttons, follow this procedure:
1. From the Manual Paging dialog box (see Figure 6-11), click the desired control button.
