Configuration Editor dialog boxes, using this calculator does not affect the console application in any way; it does
not modify any of the console’s INI files. See Figure 6-16.
•
Radio Status—The Radio Status dialog box allows the user to set-up each of the 128 possible radio statuses as
required at the console. Each status code is set for either RSM or RTT operation at the console and its text string is
defined. This configuration must be accomplished before RSM/RTT module “adds” via the UDS Configurator
program. See Figure 6-17.
•
Entity Database—This dialog box allows the user to edit the console’s entity database (ENTITY.DAT). Unit,
group, conventional channel and console entities’ settings can be edited. In most cases, usage of this dialog box is
only required and should only be utilized if the console’s CEC/IMC network system is not equipped with a System
Manager. See Figure 6-18.
•
Import Data—The Import Data dialog box provides data file conversion functions from earlier DOS-based
C3 Maestro data file formats to the data file formats required by the C3 Maestro for Windows NT. In some cases,
these conversions may be desired over constructing new databases using standard database download/transfer and
module programming methods. See Figure 6-19.
The Configuration Editor’s Program Info dialog box is shown selected in the following figure. When the program starts,
this dialog box always initially displays to introduce the program:
