4.1. Cymbal Connected to DC Motors
InordertoconnecttheCymbaltoaDCmotor,connectHallA(J4pin5ofthedrivetoHall
return(J4pin3ofthedrive).ThemotorshouldbeconnectedtoM2,M3.
4.2. Current Command Input
TheCymbalhasasingledifferentialinput.Theinputoperatingvoltagerangeis±10V,meaning
thata10Vsignalwillresultinafullyratedpeakcurrent.Thecurrentlimitcircuitswilloverride
thissignalifthepeakdurationexceeds2.7secondsand/ortherequiredcurrentexceedsthe
valuessetbytheECLCandECLP signals.Iftheinputcommandvoltageexceeds10V,input
scalingmustbeimplementedbyadding apairofexternalresistors,accordingtothefollowing
formula:
Rin(KΩ)=(5.33*Vin)–53.6
Becarefulnottoapplyinputvoltageabovethemaximumallowedinputvoltageasthiswill
causetheinputoperationalamplifiertooperatebeyonditslimits(±20V)andinextremecases,
mayevendamageit.
4.3. External Current Limit - Continuous (ECLC)
ThecontinuouscurrentlimitoftheCymbalamplifierscanbescaleddownbyanexternal
voltageorbyanexternalresistorconnectedfrompinJ2/13(ECLC)topinJ2/8(ECLRET).
