3-1 Display Mode
If “Monitor Password Protection” function is enabled (Please refer to Chapter 5-4 User
Account Management and Chapter 5-7 System Setting), the system will request you to enter
User name and Password before seeing the live monitor. Click the monitor icon
on the
main screen to login to the DVR live monitor.
This DVR system provides different kinds of display mode depending on the DVR model you
install. 16- channel DVR provides 4/6/8/9/10/13/16 split modes. 8- channel DVR provides
4/6/8/9 split modes and 4-channel DVR provides 4-split mode.
You can also
click in a camera image on any split screen to show the full screen of that specific camera. The
cameras displayed on each split mode can be configured in the system setting menu.
Beside these split modes, we have 4 channel and 1 channel sequencer modes. Just click the
icon to select the sequencer mode you want. You can set up the “Sequencer Order” and
the “Sequencer Duration” in the “System Setting” menu. Please refer to the Chapter 5-2.
In the full screen mode, the “Screen Adjustment Parameters” will locate at the bottom of the
screen. These parameters include “contrast”, “brightness”, “chroma”, and “saturation”. You can
disable this function in the system submenu under “System Setting”
When a Speed Dome is connected and the system is in full screen mode, PTZ control buttons
will pop up in the lower right of the screen. These controls include “Zoom in”, “Zoom out”,
“Auto Focus”, “Focus Near”, “Focus Far”, and “PTZ Speed”, “Auto Pan” and “ Preset Points”.

Note
Although DVR supports max 30 characters for camera name, SV2000
DVR can only display 15 characters of camera name in “one channel”
split mode.
