Owner's Manual

Light scratches are normal for stainless steel sinks; over time, these light scratches will
blend into the uniform finish pattern.
Maintenance and repair guidelines for Elkay stainless steel sinks are dependent upon
finish type. Finish-specific recommendations are outlined below. For each finish, begin
with Step 1; if unsuccessful, move to the next recommended step.
Lustertone® Classic and Lustertone Iconix® Ground Finishes
Recommended cleaning kit: LK34
For stains or light scratches, we suggest use of a mildly aggressive cleaner, such as
Shiny Sinks® Plus or Flitz®. For stubborn stains and more noticeable scratches, we
recommend use of a more aggressive cleaner, such as Bar Keepers Friend®. Ensure
the cleaner is rubbed in the direction of the sink grain lines and the sink completely
dried when finished.
Step 1. Powder with sponge
Step 2. Paste with sponge
Step 3. Green Scotch-Brite Pad with powder or paste working with grain
Step 4. Black sanding screen with powder or paste working with grain
