With an industrial-retro flair, the Sylvester pendant has a rounded shade held by a
die casting on top, and a clear halophane glass diffuser secured with nautical style
hardware. A Weathered Zinc finish is complemented with Satin Nickel hardware.

HALOPHANE
Halophane glass became popular at the turn of the 20th century when it was discovered
that its refractive qualities cast a crisp, even light throughout the room. These characteristics
reduced shadows and allowed for a brighter and safer environment. Over a century later,
we still value those same attributes. The ribbed halophane glass with complimenting turned
detailing in the framework pays homage to early period lighting.
