INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
415-0144 5’* OR 415-0145 6’* SMOOTH FRONT
ACRYLIC APRONS
INTRODUCTION:
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY before proceeding with the apron installation.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:
1. With soaking tub or whirlpool in place, measure
from the bottom of the tub lip to the finished floor
surface (see Illustration A). Subtract 1/8” from this
dimension for clearance. This adjusted dimension
will be used to determine the proper apron height for
your installation.
2. Lay apron face-up on flat surface. Hook tape
measure on stepped edge of apron near top and mark
the adjusted dimension (identified in step 1) near the
bottom edge of apron (see Illustration B). Repeat
this several times across length of the apron. Draw a
straight line at the marks on apron. This will be your
cut line to custom fit the apron to your installation.
3. Apron can now be trimmed* to the proper height or
length by using a circular saw, jig saw or table saw
with a medium toothed blade. To prevent scratching
of the acrylic surface, tape over area to be cut. Cut
at a slow cutting speed and from acrylic side to
prevent chipping the acrylic.
4. Insert the lip of trimmed apron up under tub edge,
between the wooden blocks and the front tub lip (see
Illustration C on back). Check to see that you have
cut the apron to the proper height. Remove apron.

no trimming required, although they can
be trimmed, if needed in other tub
applications.
