32. To protect against electric shock do not immerse the power cord, power plug or
motor base in water or any other liquid.
33. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
34. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
35. It is recommended to regularly inspect the appliance to avoid a hazard. Do not use
the appliance if power cord, power plug or appliance becomes damaged in any way.
Return the entire appliance for examination and/or repair.
36. This appliance is for household use only.
37. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use. Do not use in
moving vehicles or boats. Do not use outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.
38. The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to
provide additional safety protection when using electrical appliances. It is advisable
that a safety switch with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA be
installed in the electrical circuit supplying the appliance. See your electrician for
professional advice.
39. Some countertop and table surfaces, such as Corian®, wood and / or laminates, are
not designed to withstand prolonged heat generated by certain appliances. It is
recommended by countertop manufacturers and Maxi-Matic that a hot pad or trivet
be placed under your appliance to prevent possible damage to the surface.
40. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
41. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
42. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.
43. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
44. Intended for countertop use only.
45. WARNING: Spilled food can cause serious burns. Keep appliance and cord away from
children. Never drape cord over edge of counter, never use outlet below counter,
and never use with an extension cord.
