ADDING OR MODIFYING TENANT GROUPS
Tenant Groups
Setting up tenants in a group allows you to make changes to a group of tenant’s without having to edit their individual
records. NOTE: When a new tenant is added to the database, the tenant is automatically added to the “Everyone
group”.
To Create a Tenant Group:
1. From the main menu select Tenant >> New Tenant
Group or from the tool bar click the NEW TENANT
GROUP icon. This will open the “New Tenant Group”
window.
2. Enter a group name and description in the “Group
Details” area.
3. In the “Group Members” area select the tenants to be
added to the group and click the LEFT-FACING
ARROW (<) button. This will move the group
members from the “Everyone Members” area to the
“Group Members” area. If you want to add all of the
tenants, click the LEFT-FACING DOUBLE ARROW
(<<) button. To remove one tenant from the
Group,select the tenant and click the UNDO button. To
remove all tenants from the group, click UNDO ALL
button.
4. In the “Group Time Zones” area, select time zones (schedules) for the tenants in this group. For information about
setting up time zones see pages 26-28 of the Versa XS Advanced Programming Manual located on the
Versa XS CD.
5. Click OK to save changes when finished.
To Edit a Tenant Group’s Door Access:
1. From the main menu select Tenant >> View Tenant Groups or from the tool bar click the VIEW TENANT
GROUPS icon This will bring up the “Edit Tenant Group” window.
2. Select the group you wish to edit from the “Group Name” drop-down menu.
3. In the “Group Time Zones” area, select the appropriate time zone from the drop-down menu next to the
corresponding door number.
