4.2 Preparation & Installation

4.2.1 Preparation

The Insta-DE 2 product is to be solely installed on flat surfaces. Prepare the flat

wall/surface by cleaning the entire area. Do not install if any imperfections are found on the

surface such as drilled holes, glue/tape residue, dents, etc. We recommend sanding the

area first to make sure you have a clean flat and smooth surface. Failure to remove such

imperfections can damage the product. The dry erase function of this product requires a

smooth writeable surface and Elite Screens is not responsible should these instructions not

be properly followed.

Take the Insta-DE 2 film roll out of the package and unroll it on a clean surface and lay it on

its front side.

4.2.2 Installation

1. Begin by marking the size of the screen size to be installed on the wall or surface.

2. Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and apply it from top to bottom

(vertically) every four to six inches apart until the marking has been completely filled

with the tape strips.

3. Remove three to four strips from the double-sided tape.

4. Carefully pick up the Insta-DE 2 film and make sure the back side is facing the wall it will

be installed on. Do not allow the film to fold in any way to avoid permanent damage.

Note: The back side of the Insta-DE 2 is shinny.
