The Portalite softbox is an entry-level softbox system with
great light performance, which fi ts to all Elinchrom fl ash units
since 1974. Portalites are made out of the same quality
material as Elinchrom uses for Rotalux but priced to budget.
The EL speed ring and rods are designed to give good stability
and quick assembly. Instead of using third party accessories,
which may not fi t to required specifi cations, Portalite is a
professional and low price alternative, an ideal car boot softbox
for indoor or outdoor use.
The Portalite series is available in square shape in 40 x 40 cm
and 66 x 66 cm. There is also a new 56 cm Octa shape designed
to work as a small beauty dish when used with the optional
defl ector set.

Rotalux octa softboxes are very popular among beauty and fashion photogra-
phers, as they prefer the round catchlight given by these softboxes. You can
make yourself a great folding beauty dish just by removing the front and inner
di users and adding one of the optional defl ectors.
Rotalux deep octa softboxes have become the most popular shape among
Rotalux users. The narrow shaped Deep Octa reduces the spread of light and
o ers sharper shadows compared to standard sized octagonal softboxes. They
provide a very even di use light over the front screen and are an excellent
crispy and direct light when used without di users to give a beauty dish look.
