SET THE EL-SKYPORT RX WIFI MODULE TO FIRMWARE
UPDATE MODE
ThismodeisusedtoupdatetheEL-SkyportRXWiFimoduleFirmwarewiththeEL-Skyport3.0PC/Macsoftware(thisrequires
theEL-SkyportPC/MACsoftwareandtheEL-SkyportUSBTransceiverRXmodule).
1. Switch the WiFi module ON and wait approx. 5 seconds.
2. PressandholdtheONbuttonfor15secondsuntilStatusLEDstartsashing.
3. Release the ON button.
4. InUPDATEmodetheStatusLEDashesnowcontinuously.
5. StarttheEL-SkyportPC/MACsoftware3.0andupdatethemodulermware.FollowthemanualoftheEL-SkyportPC/
MACsoftwareandtheFirmwareUpdatedocumentation.

Itispossibletouseboth,theEL-SkyportMobileApp.onyouriPhone™/iPad™/iPodTouch™andthePC/Macatthesame
time,butonlyonedevicecanbeusedtocontrol/remoteashunits.Inordertopreventconnectionissues,werecommendthe
following settings:
WhentheEL-SkyportMobileAppisused(toremoteashunits)
• SwitchthePC/MACsoftwaretoOFFLINE.
WhenthedieEL-SkyportPC/MACSoftwareisused(toremoteashunits)
• SelecttheHomeScreen“ALLUNITS”/ALLEGERÄTEoftheMobileApp,whichhasthesameeffectassettingOFFLINE
in the PC/MAC software.
