WARNING
When using this method to light your
fire table use heat resistant gloves
and follow t he step by step
instructions. Failure to do so could
result in severe injury.
WARNING
DO NOT wear loose or flammable
clothing while lighting fire ta ble.
WARNING
If burner fla me goes out during operation, immediately
turn t he control knob “OFF” and let the gas clear a
minimum of 5 minutes before attempting to re-light the
fire table.
LIGHTING INST RUCTIONS
Using the Igniter
1. Read and u nderstand all operatin
g
instructions before li

. Ensure that all protective
film has been removed from stainless burn tray prior to lighting.
2. Burner control knob must be in the OFF position.
3. Connect natural gas source (see above pages).
4. Open the natural gas su pply to the unit.
5. Push and hold igniter but t urn to create sparks.
6. While holdin g the igniter button with one hand, use yo ur other hand to push and turn the control knob
to the “LIGHT” position to light the burner.
7. Kee p the burner control knob pressed in for 15-30 seconds after ignition.
8. If ignition does no t occur in 30 seconds, turn control knob to the “OFF” position and tu rn gas off at the
source, wait 5 minutes until gas has cleared and repeat lightingprocedure.
9.
After lighting, rotate the burner control knob counter clockwise to “L ow setting.
Observe flame, make su re all burner ports are lit. Flame height should be no higher than
13 inches tall.
10. Adjust the f lame to the desire d height with the co ntrol
knob.
Using a Long Match or Lighter
1. Prior to lighting, use a shovel to move
the lava ro cks for access t o the burner.
2. Wearing heat resistant gloves, positio n the b urning long
match or burn ing buta ne lighter near the side of the
burner. Do NOT lean over the fire table while lighting!
3. Turn control kn ob counter clockwise to “LIGHT”.
4. Remove long match/long b utane lighter.
5. After lighting , use a shovel and he at resistant
gloves to carefully move the lava rocks back
into their proper position.
6. After lighting, r otate the burner control knob counter
clockwise to “Low” setting. Observe the flame, make sur e
all burner po rts are lit. Flame he ight should be no higher
than 13 inches tall.
7. Adjust the flame to the desired height with t he
contro l knob.
