8. THE SEQUENCER

2. Use the LEVEL/DATA knob to navigate the menu and change the retrig parameter settings. Set

retrig to ON.

3. Release the [TRIG] key(s) to exit the TRIG REPEAT menu. The retrig settings are stored together

with the active pattern.

8.8 TRIG NOTE MENU

IN GRID RECORDING mode, Press and hold one or more [TRIG] keys to access the TRIG NOTE menu. Use

LEVEL/DATA to change the settings. Press LEVEL/DATA to toggle between NOTE, VEL, and LEN.

NOTE sets the pitch of the note when trigged. (24–+24 semitones for samples. C0–G10 for MIDI notes)

VEL sets the velocity of the sequencer’s note trigs. (0–127)

LEN Trig Length sets the duration of the notes. When a note has ﬁnished playing a NOTE OFF command

is sent. The INF setting equals inﬁnite note length. (0.125–128, INF)

The LEN parameters setting is only in use when sending sequencer data over MIDI to

external devices. It does not aect the Model:Samples internal sample engine.

8.9 QUANTIZE MENU

Press [FUNC] + [LOOP] to access this menu. Use LEVEL/DATA to browse and change the settings.

8.9.1 GLOBAL

Aects all unquantized trigs of all tracks in real time. The higher the parameter value, the more all un-

quantized trigs are corrected towards the grid.

8.9.2 TRACK 1–6

Aects all unquantized trigs of the active track in real time. The higher the parameter value, the more all

unquantized trigs are corrected towards the grid. Press [T1–6] to select the track to quantize.

8.9.3 APPLY

Applies the settings made in the GLOBAL and TRACK 1–6 parameters. Select “YES” to apply the quanti-

zation operation, or “CANCEL” to cancel.

8.9.4 LIVE-REC

Applies quantization to the trigs that you record in LIVE RECORDING mode. (ON, OFF).

Press and hold [RECORD], and then quickly press [PLAY] twice to toggle the LIVE RE-

CORDING quantization on and o.

8.10 CLICK MENU

The CLICK menu controls the internal metronome. Press [FUNC] + [REVERSE] to open the CLICK menu.

Use LEVEL/DATA to browse and change the settings.
