9.15 TRACK MUTING
Mute tracks by pressing [FUNC] + the [TRACK] key of the track you want to mute. Only the note trigs of
the sequencer are muted, meaning it is still possible to play a muted track manually using the [KEYBOARD]
keys. When changing patterns, the same track mutes will be present in the next pattern as well.
The [TRACK] keys indicate the mute status. Unlit [TRACK] keys indicate the muted tracks. Green [TRACK]
keys indicate audible tracks. A red [TRACK] key indicates the active, audible track. A yellow [TRACK] key
indicates an active, muted track.
Track muting can also be done while in PERFORMANCE mode. For more information, please
see “9.3.4 PERFORMANCE TRACK MUTE” on page 26.
Tracks can also be muted in SONG and CHAIN mode. This sort of muting, called song muting,
works dierently compared to track muting, most notably because song mutes are pattern
exclusive. See page 45 for more info. For more information, please see “11.2.3 ADDING RE-
PEATS, MUTES AND TRANSPOSE INFORMATION” on page 52.
