Drei-Wege-Schnittstelle
Diese Schnittstelle auf der Rückseite aller Mo-
delle der Serie PSI 5000 bietet drei Anschlüsse,
davon einer analog und zwei digital. Über alle
kann das Gerät ferngesteuert und überwacht
werden.
Der analoge Anschluß verfügt über analoge
Steuereingänge für 0...10V um Spannung,
Strom und Leistung von 0...100% zu program-
mieren.
Ausgangsspannung und Ausgangsstrom kön-
nen über analoge Monitorausgänge mit 0...10V ausgelesen wer-
den. Weiterhin gibt es einige Statuseingänge und -ausgänge.
Die zwei digitalen Schnittstellen sind USB und Ethernet. Über
beide kann der Anwender wahlweise auf das Gerät zugreifen,
um es komplett mit allen Ausgangswerten fernzusteuern oder
um einfach nur Daten zu erfassen.
Den Zustand der Fernsteuerung zeigt das Gerät in der Anzeige
an. Währenddessen sind alle frontseitigen Bedienelemente, mit
Ausnahme der Local-Taste, gesperrt.
Während für USB-Betrieb keine Einstellungen nötig sind,
werden die nötigen Parameter für Netzwerkanbindung über
ein kleines, mitgeliefertes Windows-Tool (auf CD) konguriert.
Three-way interface
This interface, which is located on the rear side
of all models of PSI 5000 series, offers three
connectors: one analog and two digital ones.
All three can be used to remotely monitor and
control the device.
The analog connector offers inputs to set volt-
age, current and power in the range of 0...100%
through control voltages of 0V...10V.
To monitor the output voltage and current,
there are analog outputs with voltage ranges
of 0V...10V. Also, several inputs and outputs are available for
controlling and monitoring the device status.
The digital interfaces are USB and Ethernet. They can be
used alternatively to completely control the device remotely
or just record data.
Remote control state is indicated in the display, while all buttons
and knobs, except Local button, are locked.
For USB there is no setup required and the network param-
eters for Ethernet connection can be comfortably congured
with a small Windows tool which is included on CD along with
the USB driver.
