Die seit Jahren bewährte Netzgeräte-
serie zeigt sich nicht nur im neuen De-
sign, sondern ist durch umfangreiche
Erweiterungen aufgewertet worden.
Dazu zählen u.a. die LED-Anzeigen mit
Preset-Funktionen für Strom und OVP,
ein umfangreiches Analoginterface und
Zustandsanzeigen als LEDs.
Die Serie wurde außerdem durch die
640W Leistungsklasse in getakteter
Ausführung mit PFC erweitert.
Die Geräte sind oben und unten ge-
schlossen und haben keine außenlie-
genden Kühlkörper. Aus diesem Grund
eignen sich die Geräte sowohl beson-
ders für die Verwendung im Schul- und
Ausbildungsbereich, als auch im Indu-
striebereich.
Die Geräte werden in 3 Leistungsklas-
sen angeboten: 160W und 320W in
Längsreglertechnologie und 640W in
Schaltnetzgerätetechnik.
Die Ausgangswerte (U+I) sowie die vor-
eingestellten Werte (U, I und OVP) wer-
den auf digitalen Instrumenten ange-
zeigt.
Der Spannungsabfall auf den Last-
leitungen kann durch die Fernfühlung
(Sense) kompensiert werden. Die An-
schlüsse hierzu befinden sich auf der
Rückseite.
Auf der Front befindet sich eine
Interfacebuchse mit analogen Ein- und
Ausgängen zur externen Programmie-
rung und Überwachung.
Hier kann auch die USB to Analog
Schnittstelle EA-UTA12 zur externen
Steuerung via Windows PC angeschlos-
sen werden (siehe Seite 39).

The established power supply series
shows up in a new design and with
new extensions.
Among them are: LED displays with
preset functions for current and OVP,
an extensive analogue interface and
status indicators as LED.
The series was also extended by the
640W power class in switched-mode
technology with power factor correction
(PFC).
There are no ventilation slots in either
the top or base of the units, also no
external heatsinks. This attention to
safety and protection makes it ideal for
schools and universities as well as test
and development laboratories and
industry.
These units are available in three power
classes: 160W and 320W as linear
regulators and 640W in switched mode
technology.
The output values (U, I) and the preset
values (U, I and OVP) are indicated on
separate digital instruments.
The voltage drop on the load cables
can be compensated by the remote
sense feature. The connectors for the
remote sense are on the rear side of
the unit.
On the front there is an interface socket
with analogue inputs and outputs for
the external programming and
monitoring.
The universal USB-to-Analogue
interface EA-UTA12 can be connected
to this socket for external control of the
unit via a windows PC (see page 39).
