5.2.3 Status 2
Baery and simulaon status share two areas. The right-hand
area shows the simulated baery temperature and the calcu-
lated internal resistance.
Before the simulaon is started, the indicated baery temperature will be idencal to the one in the setup below, but will change
during runme. Same for the internal resistance.
5.2.4 Control
Control, i. e. manual start and stop of the simulaon, is done
via two buons in the upper part of the main window.
Aer the start of the soware the Start buon is locked unl
the simulaon has been inialized (Inialize buon).
Following rules for control:
• Baery simulaon could be interrupted by a device alarm or disconnecon, but can be connued later
• You can manually Stop anyme and then connue the test (Start buon)
• The simulaon would only start from the very beginning when reseng the test to its start condions with buon Inialize
• The Start buon will be locked unl inializaon
5.3 Tab “Baery Simulator”
The lower part of the main window, specically tab “Baery Simulator” is most important. There you set up your simulaon pa-
rameters. The sum of all sengs can be saved in conguraon proles (CSV le) and loaded at will. The latest saved set of sengs
can also be loaded automacally, if opon “Load conguraon at startup” is checked.

Nr Parameter Descripon
1 Baery type
This selector is usually locked to the baery type dened by the license on the USB dongle. It means, the
soware will detect the kind of license and automacally select the baery type. Only if two dierent
license dongles are plugged to the same PC, this selector will be unlocked.
With date June, 2019 and when unlocked, it selects the simulated baery type between Lead-Acid and
Lithium-Ion. The selecon aects the adjustable range of parameters Capacity, Internal resistance, Voltage
lower cuto and Voltage upper cuto.
