Leistungsreduktion

Bei den Geräten der Serie EA-EL 9000 T wird die Leistung durch ein thermi-

sches Derating so begrenzt, daß das Gerät nicht überhitzen kann.

Je geringer die Umgebungstemperatur und je besser die Kühlung der End-

stufe ist, desto mehr Leistung kann die Last aufnehmen. Die Nennleistung

vor Derating ist bei 25°C Umgebungstemperatur deniert.

Fernsteuerung & Konnektivität

Zur Fernsteuerung steht standardmäßig eine USB-, eine Ethernet- und eine

Analogschnittstelle auf der Rückseite der Geräte zur Verfügung.

Ein frontseitiger USB-Anschluß vom Typ A ist für USB-Sticks vorgesehen,

um von diesen Benutzerprole und Funktionen zu laden bzw. zu speichern.

Windows-Anwender können die mitgelieferte Software „EA Power Con-

trol“ für einfache bis komplexe Tests nutzen. Sie bietet unter Anderem das

sogenannte „Sequencing“, welches halbautomatische Testabläufe durch

Tabellensteuerung ermöglicht. Diese Tabellen sind vom Typ und können

in MS Excel oder CSV-Editoren gestaltet und in die Software importiert

werden. Diese Software bietet außerdem die Möglichkeit, über die kosten-

pichtig freischaltbare Anwendung „Multi Control“ bis zu 20 Geräte auf

einmal zu steuern. Siehe Seite 177 für mehr Informationen.

Power derating

The devices of the EA-EL 9000 T series are equipped with thermal derat-

ing in order to avoid overheating when operating in the maximum power

range.The lower the ambient temperature and the better the cooling, the

higher the power that the load can take. The nominal intake power before

the derating starts is dened at 25°C ambient temperature.

Remote control & connectivity

For remote control, there are USB, Ethernet and analog ports available as

standard on the rear of the devices.

Another USB port, located on the front side, is intended for USB sticks in

order to load and save functions and user proles.

Windows users can prot from the free software “EA Power Control”. It of-

fers a feature called “Sequencing”, where the device is controlled through

a semi-automatic table in CSV format. This table represents a simple test

procedure and can be created and edited in MS Excel or other CSV editors

and then imported into the software tool.

This software also allows for the control of up to 20 units at once with an

optional feature called “Multi Control” (licensed, not free of charge). See

page 177 for more information.
