Description
The Emerald ICE system allows users to monitor conversations at other extensions.
Monitoring of busy extensions and outside lines is possible only at extensions with
a an authorized Monitor Class of Service.
1. Place a call to a busy extension or press a busy outside line button.
2. Press the softkey beneath
monit]. The audio connection at the busy
outside line is connected to your extension. Also, at this time, the Mute
function at your telephone is automatically activated. The display indicates
the internal extension that is being monitored.
3. You may press the softkey beneath
intru] or Mute to intrude on the
conversation.
Operational Notes
• The highest level of priority in Monitor Class is 0. 9 is the least priority level.
• Monitor will not be allowed if the called extension’s Monitor COS matches
the calling extension Monitor COS.
