Introduction

This guide provides you with easy-to-follow instructions on how to get the most
from the features of the system. It is divided into several sections. To start using
the system quickly, read through the Getting Started, and Basic Operation sections.
After you have used the system for a short while, read the remainder of this guide
to learn the other features and capabilities of system.
This guide is designed for all the system features. Some system features
are optional and may not be installed in your system.
The Emerald ICE HD Voicemail Mailbox User Guide is divided into the following
sections:
•Section 1 - Introduction - this section provides a general description of Sim-
licity for Coral, a description of this manual and the conventions used
throughout.
•Section 2 - Getting Started- This section provides descriptions of how to
setup mailboxes, accessing the mailbox, broadcast messages, erased message
notices, confirmation notices and disconnecting from the system.
•Section 3 - Basic Operations- This section provides descriptions of how to
listen to messages, the playback controls, options while listening and chang-
ing personal greetings.
•Section 4 - Additional Operations- This section provides descriptions of
additional information when listening to messages, erasing greetings,
recording your name and temporary greetings, changing the personal accses
code, accessing the secretary mailbox, using guest mailboxes, setting up
group distribution lists, outdial operations, and checking message delivery.
•Section 5 - Expert Mode - This section provides descriptions of the Auto list-
ing/skip feature, auto scanning of the envelope information and mass-auto
delete.
