System information
Fiery Central server workspace
The workspace lists Fiery Central Server connections, consumables, and errors and alerts. It also provides the Fiery
Central Device Center interface and Paper Catalog Map.
Servers pane in Fiery Central
The Servers pane shows the authenticated Fiery Central Server connections.
Fiery Central servers appear in the Servers pane with the following indicators:
Fiery Central Server
Printer Group within the Fiery Central Server
Fiery Server within the Fiery Central Server
Disconnected Fiery Server within the Fiery Central Server
Generic PostScript printer or non-Fiery printer within the Fiery Central Server
Consumables
The Consumables section in the Servers pane includes information about consumables for a selected Fiery Server
within a printer group. You must be logged on to the Fiery Server to see its consumables.
Consumable information is not available for a Fiery Central Servers, printer groups, non-Fiery Servers, or generic
PostScript printers.
Viewing server information
To view a detailed and complete list of server information, click Device Center > General > General Info.
Viewing status and error messages
View status information about the Fiery Central Server, the Fiery Server or the non- Fiery printer and error messages
about the copier/printer the server is connected to in the Servers pane, in the section immediately below the name of
the Fiery Server.
The Printer Group that contains the Fiery Server or non-Fiery printer with the error is shown with an error icon in
the Servers pane. If multiple errors occur at the same time, the most critical error displays first. After you resolve it,
the next error displays, and so on, until all errors are resolved.
View Fiery Central jobs
You can view Fiery Central jobs in the Job Summary pane or in the Fiery Central Job Center. The Job Center gives
you the option of filtering out non-Fiery Central jobs.
When you select a printer group, only the jobs that are assigned to the selected group in the Fiery Central Server are
shown in the Job Center. Similarly, when you select a specific Fiery Server within a printer group, the Job Center
displays jobs that are on the Fiery Server. If you select a non-Fiery or generic PostScript printer, only Fiery Central
jobs are shown in the Job Center.
