From Configure, choose Network > Services > Windows Printing (SMB).
Note: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150Pro, you can find the settings mentioned in this
procedure in Job Submission > Windows Printing instead.

Select Enable Windows Printing (SMB).

If your Fiery Server supports both PostScript and PCL, select the type of printer driver that is available for users
to download when they install printer drivers with the Point and Print method of installation.

Apply or save your changes.
Configure LPD
You can configure Line Printer Daemon (LPD) printing.
Before you begin
For LPD printing, you must enable TCP/IP on the Fiery Server
Important: There are two versions of Configure and they are specific to the Fiery Server you are connected to. This
is a combined procedure that describes what to do when connected to a Fiery Server with FS100/100Pro or earlier,
and notes about what to do with FS150/150 Pro or later. If you are not sure which version of Configure you are
using, see Which version of Configure am I using? on page 27.

From Configure, choose Network > Services > LPD.
Note: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150Pro, you can find the settings mentioned in this
procedure in Job Submission > LPD instead.

Select Enable LPD Printing.
Note: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150Pro, select Enable.

Select the print connection on the Fiery Server to which LPD jobs are sent.
In addition to the standard print connections Print queue and Hold queue, published virtual printers (if
supported by your Fiery Server) are also listed.

Apply or save your changes.
Configure Port 9100
Enabling Port 9100 services allows applications to open a TCP/IP socket to the Fiery Server at Port 9100 to download
a print job.
Important: There are two versions of Configure and they are specific to the Fiery Server you are connected to. This
