Click Contact List.
You can define a password when you create a new user. Follow your organization’s guidelines for the minimum
length of the password and for the frequency with which it must be changed.

Click Add.

Type the appropriate information in the fields, and click Save.
Note: To create several users in succession, click Save and Add.
Create new users (FS150/150Pro)
If users are not in the global address list or contact list, you can create them manually. Any name that appears in the
contact list can become a user that you assign to a group.
Important: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150 Pro or later, use this procedure. If you are not
sure about which version of Configure you are using, see Which version of Configure am I using? on page 27. An
alternative procedure about what to do with FS100/100Pro is available.
The Administrators and Operators groups have a default user named "admin" or "operator," respectively.

From Configure, select User Accounts.

Click the Fiery Contact List button.

In the Fiery Contact List dialog box, click the Add User button.

In the Create User dialog box, specify the required information. Click Create.

Click Close.
Create groups (FS100/100Pro)
When you create a group, you define its privileges. You can add new or existing users to the group when you create
it, or you can create a group without adding users and then add them later.
Before you begin
Important: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS100/100 Pro or earlier, use this procedure. If you are not
sure about which version of Configure you are using, see Which version of Configure am I using? on page 27. An
alternative procedure about what to do with FS150/150Pro is available.
To add users from your organization's global address list, you must first enable LDAP services on the Fiery Server.

From Configure, select Users and Groups.
The current list of groups is displayed, including several default groups.
