System information
To set up and manage Paper Catalog, you must log in to Command WorkStation with Administrator access.
Access levels
The level of Paper Catalog functionality available to you depends on how you log into Command WorkStation. The
relevant access levels are:
•
Administrator - Has full access to all Command WorkStation and Fiery Server functions. Administrator
password is required.
•
Operator - Has access to all Job Center functions. In Device Center, does not have access to Configure, Backup
and Restore, changing passwords, and deleting the Job Log. Can view Paper Catalog, virtual printers, and color
management functions, but cannot edit them. Operator password is required.
Paper Catalog allows Administrators to:
•
Define multiple media attribute combinations and assign unique names to each combination
•
Assign color profiles for each media
•
Select predefined media when they submit their job
•
Assign media to trays
•
Specify which Paper Catalog columns are available for users
•
Centrally maintain their Paper Catalog database
Paper Catalog allows Operators to:
•
Select predefined media when they submit their job
•
Assign media to trays
Choose media from Paper Catalog
Once the Paper Catalog has been set up and entries defined, you can select media from the catalog and assign it to
your job.
Administrators can access Paper Catalog from:
•
Media and Mixed Media in Job Properties
•
Booklet Maker in Job Properties
•
Fiery Impose, Compose, or JobMaster, if supported
Choose from Paper Catalog in Job Properties
Paper Catalog is available from the Job Properties dialog box in Command WorkStation.

Double-click a job in the Job Center window, or select the job and either right-click to select Properties or
choose Actions > Properties.
