Select a virtual printer in the list and click one of the following in the toolbar:
Publish to publish the selected virtual printer on the network.
The virtual printer is shared over the network when SMB printing is enabled in Server Configuration.
Unpublish to remove the selected virtual printer from the network.
The virtual printer no longer appears as a shared printer. It also no longer appears as a printer you can import
jobs to in Command WorkStation.
Delete to delete the selected virtual printer.
Print to virtual printers from Windows
Virtual printers are published on the network. To print to a published virtual printer from a Windows client
computer, you must first add the virtual printer. Then you must update the installable options.

Update the installable options
To print to a virtual printer from a Windows computer, you must make sure two-way communication is enabled and
update the installable options.

Locate the virtual printer in Printers and Faxes.

Right-click the virtual printer, and choose Properties.

Click the Installable Options tab and make sure that Two-Way Communication with the Fiery Server is
enabled.

Click Update.
Print a job
To print to a virtual printer from Windows, you must select job settings.

Open the file and select Print from the File menu.

Click Properties.

Make sure that the Fiery Printing tab is selected, and click the tabs to select job settings.
Print to virtual printers from Mac OS
Virtual printers are published on the network. To print to a published virtual printer from a Mac OS client
computer, you must first add the virtual printer. Before adding the virtual printer, install the printer driver from the
User Software DVD or from WebTools.
