Making the Vacuum Cleaner Ready for Use The accessories can be connected by either applying pressure or twisting, and disconnected by either pulling them apart or twisting. Connect Together the Suction Hose and Suction Tube. Firmly connect the suction hose handle to the suction tube. Connect the Suction Tubes Together Connect the two tubes together. Connect the Suction Hose Insert the suction hose connector in the suction inlet. It locks in place and can be rotated all the way around.
Switching On Switch On and Off You can switch the appliance on and off by pressing the On/Off button. Power Regulation: Crevice and Upholstery Nozzle Stored in the Appliance For specific cleaning requirements, two other items are included with the vacuum cleaner in an integrated accessories compartment*. Open the compartment by pressing gently as shown in the Figure. The nozzles may be attached to both the suction tube or the handle on the suction hose, depending on requirements.
Maintenance and Cleaning Prior to maintenance and cleaning, ensure that the appliance is switched off and that it is unplugged from the mains: Insert the new paper filter to the stop in the guide rails, only then can the lid be closed. If a paper filter is not inserted, it is not possible to close the cover.
Cleaning As required, wipe the housing and the paper filter compartment with a damp cloth. Do not use any scourers or any solvents. Occasionally vacuum the floor nozzle and brush using the crevice nozzle.
