The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product should not be treated as household waste. Instead it should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.

Plug all the holes with the plugs which you will find in the envelope containing the instruction manual. All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. You are advised to keep all transit devices so that they can be refitted if the machine ever has to be transported again. 1.

If it is too short and you do not wish to move the tap, you will have to purchase a new, longer hose specially designed for this type of use. Water drainage The end of the drain hose can be positioned in four ways: Hooked over the edge of a sink using the plastic hose guide supplied with the machine.

Extra dry (cottons). Store dry (cottons and synthetics). • Select programme “Spin” or “Delicate Spin”.

After starting the programme, the remaining time is updated every minute. Important! If you select a drying time longer then 55’ minutes, after 3 seconds, the display will show it in hours and minutes (see the example below).

To be used for laundry which is lightly soiled or which needs freshening up. Max. load: 2 kg. Washing temperature: 30 C. Programme duration: 30 minutes. Final spin speed: 700 rpm. Rinses With this programme it is possible to rinse and spin the garments which have been washed by hand.

Sorting the laundry General rules: Follow the wash code symbols on each garment label and the manufacturer’s washing instructions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens.

Be careful with rust stains which are not recent since the cellulose structure will already have been damaged and the fabric tends to hole. If using compact (concentrate) detergents, a programme without prewash must be selected.

As a dryer, the machine works on the condensation principle, the water tap must be open and the drain hose must drain water into a sink or into the drain pipe, even during the drying cycle.

To switch the appliance off turn it to “Off”. Washing only Before washing your first load of laundry, we recommend that you run a cotton cycle at 95°C, with the machine empty, in order to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour half a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment and start up the machine.

Select the “Delay Start” Press the “Temp.” button if you wish to select a temperature value different from the one proposed by the machine or the (COLD WASH). The relevant light will light up. Before you start the programme, if you wish the starting to be delayed, press the “Delay Start” button repeatedly, or keep it pressed, to select the desired delay.

At the end of the programme At the end of the programme, the washer-dryer stops automatically. The light of the “Start/Pause” button goes off, the phase indicator lights go off. The display will show a flashing zero. It is possible to change any option before the programme carries it out. Before you make any change, you must pause the machine by pressing the “Start/Pause” button.

DRYING 3.5 KG OF COTTON You have for example just machine-washed and spun at 1400 rpm 7 kg of laundry. They are cotton fabrics of medium weight which you want to iron as soon as they are dry. 6. Remove the laundry. Note: Remove the laundry from the appliance and divide the items to obtain two loads of approx. 3.5 kg each.

Before any maintenance or cleaning is carried out you must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply. 1. Emergency emptying out If the water is not discharged, proceed as follows to empty out the machine: • pull out the plug from the power socket; • close the water tap; • if necessary, wait until the water has cooled down; • open the the pump door; • place a bowl on the floor and place the end of the emergency emptying hose into the bowl. Remove its cap.

During machine operation it is possible that one of the following alarm codes appears on the display and an acoustic sound can be heard: - E10 : problem with the water supply - E20 : problem with water draining - E40 : door open Once the problem has been eliminated, press the Start/Pause button to restart the programme.
132973270_correct.qxd 29/03/2007 10.12 Pagina 29 Problem Possible cause • The door will not open: • The water level is above the bottom edge of the door. • The machine is heating the water or drying clothes. • The drum is turning. • Spinning starts late or the laundry is not spun enough: • The electronic unbalance detection device has cut in because the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistributed by reverse rotation of the drum.
