Press to select a clock functions.

Turn the setting knob to

change the timer settings.

To deactivate the appliance, turn the

knob for the oven functions to the off

position ("0") .

Knob symbol, indicator or

lamp (depends on the model -

refer to the product

description):

• The indicator comes on when

the oven heats up.

• The lamp comes on when the

appliance operates.

• The symbol shows whether the

knob controls one of the cook-

ing zones, the oven functions or

the temperature.

5.2 Microwave Functions

Oven function Application

Light To activate the lamp without a cooking function.

Microwave Creates the heat directly in the food. Use it to

heat pre-prepared meals and drinks, to defrost

meat or fruit, and to cook vegetables and fish.

Microwave grilling The Microwave grilling combines the microwave

and the grill functions at different time periods

and power levels (refer to the power setting ta-

ble). Use the Microwave grilling to keep the

crispness of certain foods.
