5.5. Changing the COM port number
If you want, after the initial setup, you can override the COM port number of a USB serial port
that the installer automatically assigns.
Open the Device Manager by right clicking on My Computer, then select Properties >>
Hardware >> Device Manager.
From Device Manager, expand the Ports (COM & LPT) node and select the name of the interface
module (Appliance Universal Adapter). Right-click on the entry and click Properties. Select the
Port Settings tab, then click Advanced. Choose the required COM port number from the list and
click OK.

You are recommended not to change any other options in this dialog.
