Temperature regulation The temperature within the appliance is controlled by the Temperature regulator situated at the top of the appliance. The temperature of the fridge compartment may be regulated by rotating the Fridge temperature regulator, and may vary between more or less +2°C and +8°C.
electrolux 7 FIRST USE Cleaning the interior Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly. Important! Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish. DAILY USE Freezing fresh food The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a long time.
electrolux If “OK” is not displayed, the average temperature in the area is too high. Adjust the temperature controller to a colder setting. Since the “OK” display is in black, it is difficult to see if the temperature indicator is poorly illuminated. Correct illumination makes it easy to read. Each time the temperature controller is adjusted, wait for the temperature inside the appliance to stabilise before checking whether another adjustment is required.
electrolux 9 Air cooling The Dynamic Air Cooling (DAC) fan let food cool quickly and a more uniform temperature in the compartment. 1. You can switch on the fan by pressing the switch (1). The green light (2) comes on. 2. Adjust the Temperature regulator to the FAN position. Humidity control The glass shelf incorporates a device with slits (adjustable by means of a sliding lever), which makes it possible to regulate the temperature in the vegetable drawer(s).

Hints for fresh food refrigeration To obtain the best performance: • do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator • do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour • position food so that air can circulate freely around it Hints for refrigeration Useful hints: Meat (all types) : wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer.
electrolux 11 Important! Do not pull, move or damage any pipes and/or cables inside the cabinet. Never use detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products or wax polishes to clean the interior as this will damage the surface and leave a strong odour. Clean the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush or a vacuum cleaner. This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption.
electrolux Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process other than those recommended by the manufacturer. A temperature rise of the frozen food packs, during defrosting, may shorten their safe storage life. 4. When defrosting is completed, dry the interior thoroughly and keep the scraper for future use. 5. Switch on the appliance. 6. After two or three hours, reload the previously removed food into the compartment.
electrolux 13 Problem Possible cause Solution The door has been opened too frequently. Do not keep the door open longer than necessary. The product temperature is too high. Let the product temperature decrease to room temperature before storage. The room temperature is too high. Decrease the room temperature. Water flows on the rear plate of the refrigerator. During the automatic defrosting process, frost defrosts on the rear plate. This is correct. Water flows into the refrigerator.

electrolux 15 Make sure the earthing connection complies with the regulations in force. We will accept no responsibility in the event of accidents or incidents caused by non-existent or defective electrical earthing connections. Door reversibility The door of the appliance opens to the right. If you want to open the door to the left, do these steps before you install the appliance: 1. Loosen the upper pin and remove the spacer. 2. Remove the upper pin and the upper door. 3. Remove the hinge cover (A).

electrolux 17 7. If the appliance must connect laterally to the kitchen furniture door: a) Slacken the screws in fixing brackets (H). b) Move the brackets (H). c) Retighten the screws. 5. Remove the correct part from the hinge cover (E). Make sure to remove the part DX, in the case of right hinge, SX in opposite case. 8. Disconnect the parts Ha, Hb, Hc and Hd Ha 6. Attach the covers (C, D) to the lugs and the hinge holes. Install the vent grille (B). Attach the hinge covers (E) to the hinge.

Instead it should be taken to the appropriate collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
