OPERATION Before using Remove all securing tapes. Wash inside the appliance with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger. Dry thoroughly. A Setting the temperature The temperature inside the refrigerator is regulated by a thermostat with 6 temperature positions and an “OFF” (O) position.
Rear spacers Frozen food storage Making ice cubes The plastic bag containing all relevant documentation also contains two spacers to be fitted into special holes in the back of the appliance. When you first start the freezer or if the freezer has been out of use for some time, we advise you to depress the ambient switch for at least two hours before storing frozen food. The appliance is provided with one or more trays for ice-cubes trays. Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the manufacturer.
Movable shelves Electrical connections The walls of the refrigerator have runners so that shelves can be positioned as desired. Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. The manufacturer declines any liability should this safety measure not be observed. D338 The door shelves can be easily removed for cleaning. Gently ease the shelf in the directions shown.
HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES INSTALLATION This appliance should only be installed at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate classification indicated on the rating plate, which is located at the left on the inside of the appliance.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before any maintenance or cleaning work is carried out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply. Internal cleaning TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Changing the light bulb Should the interior light fail to work, first switch off the appliance and disconnect from the electricity supply, then replace the bulb as follows; DIMENSIONS Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Symptom Solution This is due to the air temperature within the refrigerator compartment being maintained at 6°C or under thus not calling the thermostat to energise the compressor . During a normal night time period of approximately 8 hours a traditional fridge freezer can normally maintain the frozen food temperature but if the appliance is left for longer period in a low ambient temperature the freezer will defrost .
