10. When the ingredients have been ground/chopped to the desired consistency, unplug the appliance,
and remove the grinder from the appliance. NOTE: Do not remove the grinder bowl directly from the
motor base as this will cause the ingredients to spill out and expose the blade assembly.
11. Turn the grinder upside down and carefully remove the blade assembly by turning it anti-clockwise.
Remove the ingredients and wash the grinder bowl (L) and blade assembly (M) in soapy water
immediately after use.
CLEANING AND CARE
12. Quick cleaning: Pour warm water into the jug (D) up to 750ml, add a few drops of detergent. Replace
the lid and operate the blender for a few seconds by turning the speed selector (H) to the PULSE
position briefly. Finally, remove the jug and rinse it under running water.
13. Thorough cleaning: Switch off the blender and unplug the power cord. Remove the jug (D) from the
motor base (G).
13a. Cleaning the motor base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor
base in water or clean it under running water!
13b. Cleaning the jug: Remove the lid (B) and jug (D). Turn the blade assembly (F) clockwise and
remove it by pulling it down. Rinse the blade assembly in water and detergent. Caution! Handle
carefully, the blades are very sharp!
The lid, jug and measuring cup can be washed in the dishwasher. Be careful when re-assembling the
blade assembly. Please see “Getting started” section, no. 1 for instructions on blade assembly.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Cause Solution
The blender does not
start.
The components are not fixed
properly.
Check if all the components are properly
locked into position.
The speed selector (H) is not on
the right position.
Choose the appropriate speed. To use
PULSE function, make sure the speed
selector (H) is on PULSE position.
The jug (D) is overfilled.
Reduce the content in the jug (D) so you do
not exceed the maximum level.
The plug is not properly
connected to the power outlet.
Check the connection of the plug to the
outlet or try another outlet.
Power outage. Wait until power outage is over.
Functional problem. Contact authorized service center.
Check the circuit breaker*.
When the electric current is
over the setting value of the
current restorer, it will disconnect
immediately. This is a safety
feature.
To restart, switch off the blender and unplug
the power cord, allow the appliance to cool
down, and then press the red salient point.
Then put the plug back into the wall socket
and switch the appliance on again.

Contents leaks from the
lid (B).
The jug (D) is overfilled.
Reduce the content in the jug (D) so you do
not exceed the maximum level.
The lid (B) is not correctly
positioned.
Lock the lid (B) correctly on the blender
jug (D).
Leak from the base of
the blender jug (D).
The rubber seal (E) is not
positioned correctly or is missing.
Reposition the rubber seal (E) on the blade
assembly (F) and lock it correctly onto the
jug (D).
The blade does not turn
easily.
Pieces of food too large or too
hard.
Reduce the size or quantity of ingredients
and add some liquid.
