GENERALCLEANING
CleaningVarious Pads of Yourappliance
Before cleaning any part of the appliance, be sure all controls are turned OFF and the appliance
is COOL. REMOVE SPILLOVERS AND HEAVY SOILING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
REGULAR CLEANING WILL REDUCETHE NUMBER OF MAJOR CLEANINGS LATER

Howto Clean
Using a soft cloth, clean with mild dish detergent and water or a 50/50 solution of
wnegar and water. Follow by rinsing the area with clean water; dry and polish with
a soft cloth.
Glass cleaners may be used if sprayed on a soft cloth first. DO NOT spray liquids
directly c_ the contre_ pad and display area. Do not use large ameanls of water on the
control panel - excess water on the control area may cause damage to the appliance.
Do not use other $iquid cleaners, abrasive c}eaners, scouring pads, or some
)aper towels - they wi(t damage the finish.
Before cleaning the controlpanel, turn all controls to OFF. Glass cleaners may be used

display erea_ Wipe with a soft cloth or paper towel. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or
scouring pads, These can permanently damage the contro( panel surface.
Gentle scouring with a soapy scouring pad will remove most spots. Rinse with a l:t
solution of clear water and ammonia. If necessary, cover difficult spots with an
ammonia-soaked paper towet for 30 to 40 minutes. Rinse with clean water and a damp
cloth, and then scrub with a soap-filled scouring pad. Rinse and wipe dry with a clean
c_oth, Remove all cleaners or the porcelain may become damaged during f_ure
heating.
Oven Door TO clean oven door, wash with hot, soapy water and e clean cloth. DO NOT immerse
the door in water or clean the oven door gasket.
Oven Gasket The overt gasket ideated on the front frame of the overt and visible when the door is
opened is essential for a _ood seal. Care should be taken not to rub, damage or
remove the gasket.
Stainless Steel, Chrome Clean with hot, soapy water and a dishcloth Rinse with clean water and a cloth. Cover
Decorative Trim, Oven Racks, stubborn spots with an ammonia.soaked paper rowe( for 30 to 40 minutes. Rinse.
Oven Racks Support Cleaners made especially for stainless steel are recommended. Be sure to r(nse the
cleaners as btoish stains may occar during healing and cannot be removed.
Oven Racks Oven racks and oven rack supports must be removed from the oven during the self-
clean cycJe for cteaning. If they are not removed, the self-clean cycle will not start. Clean
them as described above.
