_Rack
Broiler Pan
When preparing meats for convection roasting, use the broiler pan and insert
along with the roasting rack. The broiler pan will catch grease spills and the
insert will help prevent spatters. The roasting rack will allow the heat to
circulate around the meat.
To prevent food from contacting the broil element and to
prevent grease spattering, DO NOT use the roasting rack when broiling.
1. Place oven rack on bottom rack position.
2. Place the insert in the broiler pan. The roasting rack fits on the insert
allowing the heated aircirculate underthe food for even cooking and helps
to increase browning on the underside. Make sure the roasting rack is
securely seated on the insert in the broiler pan. DO NOT use the broiler
pan without the insert or cover the broiler pan insert with aluminum foil.
3. Position food (fat side up) on the roasting rack.
4. Place the broiler pan on the oven rack.
Note: Always pull the rack out to the stop position before removing food.
NOTE: For best convection roasting results, use the broiler pan,broiler pan insert and roasting rack.
SettingConvection Roast
The _ or _'_ pad controls the Convection Roast feature. The oven can be
programmed

to Convection Roast at any temperatu re between 170°F (77°C) to 550°F (288°0) (The
example below is for 350°F).

To Set the Upper Oven to Convection Roast and
Temperatureto 350°F:
1. Arrange interior oven racks and place food in oven.
2. Press _ or (_). (Note: To use the lower oven instead of the
upper oven, press Q or @ at this time.)
3. Press _ or @. '---" wdl appear and "UPPER", "ROAST"and "CONV"
willflash in the display ( Figure 1).
4. PressQ, G' Q "3SO°"wi,appearinthedisplay(Figure2>.
5. Press @. "UPPER","ROAST"and"CONV" willstop flashing and the oven

icon willappear in the display. The bake (Figu re a), broil (Figu re 4) and
convection (Figure 5) element icons will show intermittently in the
display indicating which element is on. A beep will sound when the
desired temperature is reached.
6. Press _ or _ to cancel convection roast at any time.
