The _ or _ pad controls the Timer feature. The Timer serves as an extra timer in the
kitchen that will beep when the set time has run out. It does not start or stop cooking. The
Timer featu re can be used du ring any of the other oven control functions, except during self
clean operation.
To set the Timer (example for 5 minutes):
1. Press _ or (_). "--:- -" will appear and "TIMER"will flash in the
display (Figure 1).
2. Press the number pads to set the desired time in the display
(example Q). Press _. The time will begin to countdown with
STAR'r
"5:00" and "TIMER"will stay inthe display (Figure 2). Note: If _ is
aT_'r
not pressed the timer will return to the time of day.
3. When the set time has run out, "End" will show in the display (Figure
3). The clock will sound with 3 beeps every 15 seconds until _ or
o_r
_is pressed.

To cancel the Timer before the set time has run out:
Press _ or .(_. The display will return to the time of day.
