PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION
RUNNING OF REFRIGERATOR
Compressor does not run,
Refrigerator runs too
much or too tong,
• Freezer control is set to "O"
• Refrigerator is in defrost cycle

disconnected
• House fuse blown or tripped

• Room or outside weather is

dirty, worn, cracked or poorly
fitted.

• This is normal for a fully automatic defrost refrigerator
The defrost cycle occurs periodically, lasting about 30
minutes.
• Ensure plug is tightly pushed into outlet.
• Check/replace fuse with a 15 amp time-delay fuse
Reset circuit breaker.
• Check house lights. Call local Electric Company
• It's normal for the refrigerator to work longer under
these conditions.
• It takes 8-12 hours for the refrigerator to cool down
completely
• ice maker operation causes refrigerator to run slightly
