z How do I know which water ﬁlter I need for my refrigerator?

When it comes to your water ﬁlter, compatible isn’t comparable. Frigidaire Genuine ﬁlters oﬀer 3 levels

of carbon ﬁltration that trap sediment, chemicals, and harmful impurities. Compatible or look-alike ﬁl-

ters aren’t guaranteed to oﬀer the same water quality.

It’s always important to use the same ﬁlter type that is currently in your refrigerator. Most Owner’s Man-

uals will provide you the water ﬁlter information speciﬁc to your model.

z Why does my refrigerator run most of the time? Is this normal?

Today’s refrigerators are designed to be more energy eﬃcient than previous models. This means that

they run longer cycles, or run continuously, to maintain an even temperature inside.

Before you begin

z Before starting your refrigerator

Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning

on the refrigerator. Choose a place that is near a grounded

electrical outlet, allowing clearances for ease of installation,

proper circulation, and plumbing and electrical connections.

z Set up your refrigerator

After you remove all of the package materials, clean the

inside of your refrigerator before using it. See CARE AND

CLEANING in your Use & Care Guide.

Care and cleaning

Keeping your refrigerator clean

maintains its appearance and

prevents odor build-up. Wipe up

any spills immediately and clean

the freezer and fresh food

compartments at least twice a year.

Clean stainless steel front and

handles with non-abrasive soapy water and a dishcloth.

Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth.
