CAREANDMAINTENANCE
Alwaysswitchofftheunitandunplugfrom themainsbeforecleaningor performinganymaintenance.When it isnotin
useforalongperioditisadvisedtoremovetheplugfromtheplugsocket.Donotusechemicalsolvents(suchasbenzene,
alcoholorgasoline)astheymay
causeirreversibledamagetotheunit.
FilterCleaning
TheAirͲinletmaygatherdusteasily,pleasecleanitoftenwithasoft,dampcloth.Ifthefi lteriscoveredbydust,the
airflowandtheperformanceof theunitwillbeaffected,itmayeven causemachinedamage.Werecommendthat
youregularlycleanthefilters.Thedehumidifiermust
bedisconnectedfromthesocketbeforemaintenanceandthe
filtersmustbeallowedtofullydrybeforereuse.
1. Remove the filters from the unit, and tap the dust
away.
2. Cleanthecarbonand themeshfilterwitha vacuum
cleanerorsoftͲbrush
3. Ifdirtandgreaseisaccumulatedwashthemeshfilter
inhotsoapywater
3. Replace the filters in position as shown in the
diagram.
Note:Neverusetheunitwithouttheantibacterialmeshdustfilter.The
active carbon filter is optional and should be replaced if necessary after
1Ͳ1 ½ years of usage. Always remove the filters out of protective bags
beforefirstuse.
ThereisanoptionalHEPA
filteravailableforpurchase.HEPAfilterwillenhancetheairqualityintheroom.
Please install the HEPA filter between the filter frame and the active carbon filter as in diagram bellow.
ReplacetheHEPAfilterevery6monthsoroftendependingontheenvironmentandairquality.Neveruse
theunitwithcloggedfilters.
GrilleandCaseCleaning
Usewaterandamilddetergent.Donotusebleachorabr asives.Donotsplashwaterdirectlyontothemain
unit.Doing so may causean electricalshockand canleadtodeterioration of theinsulation, orcause the
unittorust.Theairintakeandoutletgri llesgetsoiledeasily,
souseavacuumattachmentorsoftbrushto
clean.
