Provisioning Modem Connection Billing
Use this procedure to build the database of EtherLoop modems managed by
the YWS.

Step Action
1 Select the Set ModeX daemon information function in the System
Maintenance section of the NSS Maintenance module. The "Configuration
parameters: modex" dialog appears as shown in Figure 6-10.

2 Set the Modex Daemon "ETHER_INTERFACE_NAME" value to ETH 1.
3 Select Port Manager from the YesWare Main Menu.
4 Select the Find New Modems
function to launch the "Discover EtherLoop
Modems" dialog as shown in Figure 6-11.

Using the Find New Modems function
To use the Find New Modems function described in this procedure, the EtherLoop
modems must reside on the same LAN segment as the YWS.
